 The trail through the temple then passes behind a small waterfall. Remember it was about as dry as Taiwan gets when I was there so the waterfall was not in full glory but still beautiful.

10 Oct 2012    On a very different day we did an assent to a very special temple called (as translated) Silver Stream Cave. It's built into a rock face.

I am combining two very different hikes in this page.

24 Sept 2012     First a few simple photos from the Jiajiuliao Trail was the longest and most remote of any we took while I was in Taiwan. The beginning was washed out, probably typhoon damage but we managed to scramble around and find the trail again. With that I'll just let the images speak for themselves.
